about Once a courtesan of acclaim, Walkelin has taken to performing his duties as a lady in waiting to various noblewoman in the high courts. He is called upon for his skill in the apothecary and keen eye for good manners ; his perfumes and etiquette sought after in equal measure. His past, and present, serve as resource and cover to his true occupation as a paid informant and agent provocateur. He is skilled in both cloak and dagger, as well as the art of poison.Walkelin has a deep, dark well of secrets. At times, one might be able to sense the ripples on the surface — but it takes a persistent and perhaps foolish companion to breach its depths.

biography Born to a mother of high standing and a supposed merchant-class father, Walkelin was raised in his house by staff until the countess's first legitimate birth; at his tenth year, he was sent to ward at Abbey Faire Penitence. While the circumstances of his birth prevented him from achieving a status by name, he studied dutifully in alchemy. In his teenaged years, he spent time as a skilled chirurgeon —tending to the sick and maimed amongst the noble court, oft lending aid through his knowledge of salves and medicines to those effected by the Dragonflame. It was in these houses and taverns that he discovered that matters of information, and the body, proved more pleasurable and profitable than that of medicine.He conducts himself gracefully, but not without an air of vanity and showmanship. His many years spent as a courtesan reveals itself in his good bedside manner, making him an easy conversationalist and attentive to his talking partner's needs. He is incredibly observant, alluring, and while soft-spoken, is unafraid to voice an opinion should he find it relevant to the conversation. There is a thread of sensuality that ties through his words regardless of intention, his mannerisms meant to evoke the feeling of having been embraced by a trusted companion. Whether or not he should be trusted, however, is another matter.Walkelin is a lifestyle submissive. His demeanor is that of sanctified service and masochism. Regardless of intent, he will often take the servile position in conversation as well as the bedroom. While walkelin has a past as a courtesan, he cannot be paid for sex. however, if your character propositions him in this way in an effort to create conflict or plot, that is okay. it might make for a good scene. rule ii. no conflation of in-character morals, conflicts, or relationships with out of character behavior. however, /tells should be used to communicate comfort levels and for clarification. this is all in the name of good fun, after all. rule iii. while erp is not out of the question, please do not be offended if he is disinterested. rule iv. will not roleplay adult topics (aka, most subjects) with neither characters nor users under the age of 21. rule v. have a good time ♡
